By Porridge I just finished reading this wonderful book, I hadn't read the prequel and I'm not sure that was necessary to enjoy this excellent and unique emotional journey, I was just sucked into an original story with well developed characters and a plot that grabbed my attention in every chapter. Having been in an unhealthy relationship with a clingy, insecure and untrusting partner, I really related to the dilemma that Emily was facing with her difficult and trying relationship with Robin... Oh Robin... What a brilliantly written character! As if he was conceptualized by my ex-partner! The writing was just superb, so engaging and presented by one of decades of experience and skill. I won't reveal any plot here because every chapter is a stepping stone that you must enjoy for yourself. Altogether, this was an interesting and original concept for a plot and I enjoyed it thoroughly! 5 stars for quality writing and compelling story, a recommendation from me for anyone who loves rich character development and multi-emotion stories!

You need to read about the seriousness of this young girl when it came to this young man. Emily has been dating Robin Buller for 3 years, he is from one of the wealthiest families in the state, from cattle but mostly oil. He has a big problem with his temper and jealousy over everything con earning emily, and it is starting to physically abuse Emily. You need to see how this young jerk feels his money and all the games fits he gives her entitles him to do as he pleases. I could say more about these s jerk but you need to read the story.

They are terrible days, those that follow the failure of the conspiracy against the Medici by the Pazzi family. Florence is bloodthirsty, determined to punish with torture or death anyone who has participated in the conspiracy. Safe in his palace, Lorenzo the Magnificent comes to know of the corpses thrown into the Arno, beheadings, lynchings. It is the whole city who avenges the murder of his brother Giuliano, and the city that delivers itself and the murderers into his hands, making him as powerful as ever. But Lorenzo does not know that the threads of the conspiracy were pulled by people much more influential than the family Pazzi...Florence today. Not many people know Pierpaolo Masoni, Renaissance painter and a soul tormented. Ana Sotomayor, a PhD student in art history, came to Florence in order to understand something more about this dark character, who carries with him personal charm. Her passionate research is pinned on one of the most controversial paintings by Masoni, being restored in the laboratories of the Uffizi, and a series of notebooks in which the artist recounts in detail his own existence and the events that have marked the history of Florence at the end of the fifteenth century, including the Pazzi conspiracy. There is some violence, offcourse - this is Italia, but the threats and blackmail boil down to a conclusion so prosaic, one couldn't help but be pleasantly surprised.No, the core of Ana's story is her lovely relationship with her mentor, an old friend of her father, Professor Giulio Rossi, whose modest help and input drive Ana on the most important discovery of her life. And the discovery of the illusive killer, too.Written in a style made familiar to me by "The Sherlockian", the story divides in half - every other chapter takes us back to the bloody year of 1478 and the Florence that was, with its beauty and its passions, its jealosies and violence, seen through the eyes of the master painter Pierpaolo Masoni and his apprentice Lucca, as they are unwilling participants in one of the city's bloodiest events, and in the end Ana's guides in flashing out, 500 years too late, the true architect of what is now known as the Pazzi Conspiracy.

Conspiración de Pazzi By Man of La Book Esta novela dice dos cuentos en dos veces 1990 y 1478, uno de un tratar de estudiante de posgrado para resolver un enigma en una pintura y el otro del aprendiz del artista que presencia los acontecimientos en Florencia, Italia como ellos suceden.La historia gira alrededor del complot por el Papa y banqueros de Florencia para asesinar los patriarcas de la familia de Medici en el Domingo de Resurrección en lo que han llegado a ser conocido como la "Conspiración de Pazzi".El autor alterna capítulos entre el estudiante y el aprendiz pero...no hay conexión en la narrativa, ningún tema común y es casi como si leyendo para separar libros. El último capítulo que el autor nos llena en la conspiración y pareció ese medio de ello casi es quitado de un libro de texto de la historia de instituto.Adoro generalmente ficción histórica, pero este libro simplemente no trabajó para mí.

Deena came from a broken home, but she refused to be a statistic. She got out and didn't look back. She made a better life for her and her daughter. Kylin gave her a better life, but there were consequences. He thought he was the breadwinner,but he was fooled. Hahaha.I was routing for Doc, but he messed up his chances by coming out his mouth wreckless. NaNa is the reason I don't deal with too many women. She is jealous of Deena. She's also very trifling and nasty. After everything that happened at the end, she showed her true colors. I hope part 2 is not to far behind.

She was determined not to be poor anymore and got her degree but she entered the drug game unfortunately she had a one friend that was real and told her of her sometimes envy and jealousy but it was all love in the end. Then she thought she had a second friend which turned unleashed her jealousy and hatred and allowed her fangs to bite. SMH Agree with other people that said Na is the reason why i TRULY dont deal with hardly any women.To deal with Deanna's ex and knowing Doc doesnt want her is low down and dirty. i wonder why his truck is sitting so high. is it to carry drugs.. I would not have read this if I had known that this ended as a cliffhanger. However, I really really enjoyed this series. My only issue is the cliffhanger ending. I would otherwise highly recommend to all to read. Not as steamy as I would have liked, but definitely worth reading! !!!

Discrepancies and errors detract By DL Young This series feels like a TV soap opera...too slow and dragged out with little happening throughout each individual book except for the one big "event" right at the end, which leads into the following book. Additionally there are tons of missed words and misspelled words and loads of story discrepancies (for example, I am now on (I think) Book 5 and the H and h just proclaim their love to one another. The h says to herself that it is the first time they have done so, however, that is not true. They traded "I love you's" in Book 2...in fact one of the villians overheard them doing so and told the h that he heard them. I really can't stand when authors can't keep the details of their own stories straight...they are writing the story so why aren't they going back and re-reading what they write to proof for typos and storyline consistency?? Not badly written overall and a decent storyline (although the h is kind of an insecure, defensive b$&@h), but def needs a good editor before publishing.

The storylines seemed chopped apart - going along for pages and then resolved in a sentence.

72 of 73 people found the following review helpful. 24 Great “Doodle” Animal designs – printed on one side of non-perforated paper By iiiireader [[VIDEOID:7f15832879800c05c0ab68fe39ebb95a]]There are 25 various animal designs in this great coloring book. They are of the outline of an animal with “doodles” added to making coloring them a fun experiment in colors. The designs include at least one: wolf, dog, cat, tiger, lion, bear, owl, elephant and more. Some of the designs are head shots while others are full body images. I like that there is a variety in poses as well as animals as it gives me more to choose from when I pick up the book to color. Doodle animals are a favorite of mine because I get to imagine animals in wild and fun colors.The designs are printed on thin white non-perforated paper which is typical of CreateSpace publications. The paper is medium weight and the binding of this book is glued rather than sewn or stapled. There is plenty of room to cut the page out if you wish. All designs stop well before the margin.Coloring pencils work well on this paper but all markers and gel pens bleed through. Not a problem – I am now using a piece of chipboard under my work to keep ink from leaking through to ruin the design below. You can use heavyweight paper or card stock but be sure to check to see how many layers you need to keep it from leaking through. The reason I like chipboard is it can be reused over and over again and is available at office supply stores or on-line.These are the coloring medium that I use for testing. If there is something else you feel I should be testing, please let me know and I will see if I can add it to my growing pile:Markers: 1) alcohol-based – Copic Sketch, Prismacolor double ended markers (brush and fine point), Sharpies (fine and ultra-fine) and 2) water-based – Tombows dual end markers (brush and fine point), Stabilo 88, Staedler triplus fineliners, and Pentel markersGel Pens: Sakura, Fiskars, Uni-ball Signo 0.38/0.28 and TekwriterColoring Pencils: Prismacolor Premier Soft Core, Derwent Colorsoft, Prismacolor Verithins, and Faber-Castel PolychromosI received a free sample of this coloring book for test and review purposes.

By Jackie Cooper You will want to color every single image in this coloring book filled with our most beloved animals, filled with both pets and wild animals from around the world. You will find House cats and Wild cats, Dogs, a Fawn, and Owl, a Bear, Horses, a Parrot, a Fox, an Elk with huge antlers, a Salamander crawling, a Bunny, a Rhinoceros, A Camel, an Elephant and more all adorned in artistic and imaginative doodles .The cover picture is included in this book and the doodle adornments are representative of all the images in this book, however you will find 8 portrait type images that are just the heads of animals like the cover picture, and 16 full body illustrationsThis is a wonderful coloring book for animal lovers of all ages including Adults, College students and School aged children. Perfect for a family gift that will provide hours of quality family time or cut off the binding and use these images for a class or coloring group.1. 24 Illustrations printed one per page (The back of each page is blank) on medium weight, bright white paper.2. All Markers I tested bleed through the pages; I just place a sheet of paper under the page I am coloring if I use markers, to prevent damage to the next page.3. Colored pencils will indent the next page unless protected; I place a clip board under the page I am coloring when I use colored pencils.4. All images are centered on each page and leave at least ½” between the image and the binding, this means coloring the entire image is easy and removing individual pages from the book using a box cutter is also easy. I use a box cutter, place a heavy cardboard under the page, place a ruler on top of the page for a straight cut and slide the box cutter along the ruler for a straight line, this only takes a second.5. With the ½” space between each picture and the binding this is also a wonderful book to take to an office supply store and have the binding cut off. This is a great way for teachers, or coloring groups to share this book, also great for children’s birthday parties.6. You will find 8 portrait type images of just the heads of your favorite animals that fill each page, plus 16 full body illustrations all adorned in doodles.

By BlankFrank I have grandchildren and coloring has long been one of the activities we engage in when we want to slow things down. With my wife and I well into our 60's and as many as 5 grandchildren here at a time, we can run out of energy long before they do. Almost in an instant these coloring books establish calm and order. The kids just love them and with the intricate details and unique patterns used in many of the pictures, the kids will be at these coloring books for hours. They just take one look at how much the adults are having when they color, and they are sold.And honestly, these coloring books add a dimension to our day that provides calm and order out of the chaos that kids can create. It's quite relaxing to just sit with the kids and let your pink and green and yellow and orange elephant come to life.

I can truly say this since it is the first by Melanie Harlow I've read.I actually own many of her books but sadly have not gotten to them yet but I will. After, reading this one, I definitely want to read more about Sebastian and Skyler's story. Ok, now onto Natalie's!Natalie is a planner. She always has been and that is why her life seems to be going perfectly, she has a thriving business, a new home and her boyfriend of ten years. Her relationship with Dan hasn't always been easy or exciting but it's comfortable. It's boring and lacking and her sisters see that but she just doesn't see it yet or in denial. Then one night they are out celebrating and ended up getting a psychic reading that tells her that a handsome stranger will be upending her life. She had no idea how much...Miles is a traveler. A man-child. A writer and a sex God! He blog's about Sex and the Single Guy and has never seen the attraction in settling down with one woman but then there is Natalie. She is different. She is the one that got away and he never has even kissed her. They have been friends forever but ten years ago when they were at that dating stage in their lives, he was too late. They had their almost moment but he knew he was not what she wanted or deserved. She wanted the family life and he even knew then, that is not what he wanted. Over the years, they had their flirty banter but now he wanted more...too bad he was still with douchebag Dan. Natalie might come off cool and calm but she feels the connection and questions her feelings of lust for Miles. She shouldn't want him. He is a man-child that would never commit but he makes her laugh and feel free so when Dan make the biggest mistake of his life, it's the best thing that could happen to Natalie and Miles. It pushes them together and let's them fly...Miles and Natalie's connection is intense, sexy, fun and beautiful. It may be all those things but after a week and it's time to come back to reality, will it known as the week of mind-blowing sex between friends or the start of more? Is he the handsome stranger the psychic was referring to?I loved this story. Hard! Miles is so f- hilarious and hot. He likes to be in control in the bedroom but not afraid of being out of control either. He loves seeing and feeling Natalie's controlling and secure side in the bedroom and out of it. And then there is Natalie, she starts off as standoffish but when Miles comes along, she lets go and has the time of her life. But will it last?I think What I loved so much was that they didn't want to change each other but help one another see more sides of themselves. And if changes happen, it's not forced but wanted.Overall...it was f- hilarious, sexy and emotional. It also made me get hot and bothered, laugh out loud and sometimes even at the same time.Quotes:He placed his palm over his heart. “My loneliness is on the inside, Natalie. This is the PERFECT read for the hopeless romantic in all of us. Not only is this a favorite of the series, but it's an all around favorite of mine from this author. This was a breath of fresh air. Natalie and Mile's journey will bring out feels you never thought possible. Heartbreaking. Beautiful. A stunning love story that will ravish your heart and soul."I feel...lost.""You're not lost." ... "You're right here with me."Harlow brings us another gorgeous, feel-good, just all around spectacular love story between Natalie and Miles. These two characters were just perfect together. The chemistry was on point with bouts of ridiculous sexual tension. The witty banter between them made me laugh, giggle, and blush over and over again. I LOVED having the male POV in this one. It gave this romance such depth and strong emotion all throughout the pages. I related to the female lead on pretty much every possible level, and I think a lot of female readers will be able to do the same. That right there, makes the story more rich and refreshing. Almost every page is coiled up with heavy sexual tension, and there were some parts where I had to catch my breath, either from laughing so hard, or from being overly excited about their pairing. My stomach dipped, my chest ached, and my cheeks hurt from this fabulous read from one of my favorite contemporary author's out there today. By ShannonVM Well, it's been a few days and I still haven't tracked down my own Miles, gosh darn it!Melanie Harlow is an automatic one-click author for me- I don’t even need to know what the book’s about, I don’t need to know a title, or see a teaser; I’m buying it no matter what. The woman hasn’t let me down yet, this book included.Some Sort of Crazy is a friends-to-lovers story, it’s crazy, funny, sweet, sexy, happy, silly…everything you could want in a contemporary romance novel. This is such a fantastic book, it left me a little giddy! I loved everything thing about it…even the *spoiler*. But in this case I think it was just what Miles needed!Natalie is such a relatable character, she’s strong and independent, with a vulnerability that keeps her real. Miles, what is not to love about him?!? I’ve come to the realization that reformed manwhores are my kryptonite…I can’t get enough of them. And Miles, Miles is so swoony, with his tattoos and glasses, and his teasing ways, yes I may be drooling.I really enjoyed how we got to see both of these characters evolve and grow, especially Miles. He was so set in his ways, determined that a “real” relationship with one woman wasn’t in the card for him- he was happy with his life as it was, not planning on settling down, ever. But when he reconnects with Natalie he has no idea what he’s in for…"Oh Jesus.I couldn’t speak. I felt sort of sick to my stomach, too. And my chest – what the *heck* was going on in there? Was it love or cardiac arrest? *Effing hck*, did people actually like this feeling? Miles and Natalie get their second chance at love, and they do not disappoint.Some Sort of Crazyis part of the A Happy Crazy Love series, but could be read as a standalone, but I don’t know why you wouldn’t want to read Some Sort of Happy (Skylar and Sebastian): A Happy Crazy Love Novel first…that book is in the running to be my top read of 2015!

Not so great By lwiggy The story lines were great but it was difficult to get through the grammatical errors as well as the changing character descriptions from one story to the next. In that, I mean he was 5 yrs. older then changed to 10 then 13??? Could not keep details straight in these stories that were linked together. I kept having to stop and substitute the correct word into a sentence instead of the incorrect one that was there! So frustrating. Gave up.

2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Not worth paying for By Beth Gordon I would have been able to enjoy the books better if the writer had fact checked herself. There were NO motels in the 1800's they did not appear until after the Automobile was invented. There was NO email in the 1800's. Women with good reputations that wanted to keep their good reputations did not go into saloons and bars and order whiskey in the 1800's. In one story a man paid a child a dollar to take an advertisement to the newspapers. He went across the street to arrest the bad guy and a couple of hours later when he got back to his room in Alabama he already had a reply from Minnesota...I know the pony express was good but really?? Another story the mansion was 3 hours away on the other side of the state a couple of chapters further on and the mansion has moved to the other side of the city only 30 minutes away. Little things like that tend to disrupt the flow of the story and make it hard to read easily. I did muddle thru to the end but was getting irritated with the number of errors. Also whoever typed it up for Kindle needed to do proof read, there were numerous spelling mistakes and wrong words substituted (to/too and so on) My High school English teacher would have given me a big red F and made me rewrite the whole thing. Probably will not buy any more from this author

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Excellent Series All Around By Karen Ruggiero Mail Order Brides Head West, by Faye Sonja, is a really great series to cuddle up in bed with and read. They are fun, contain some surprises, and all intercept with one another nicely. I really appreciate the flow of this series, along with all of the characters. The author writes in such a way that sucks you in, making you feel as if you are a part of the story with the characters. Without giving too much away, the main premise of the story is about women traveling West in order to become mail order brides, believing that that will result in the ultimate joy and happiness. Of course there are wrenches thrown into each story, but that's the best part. I had trouble putting each book down, because I always wanted to find out what was going to happen next with these women. Yes, grammar could be a bit better, but I don't judge a book based on that, I judge based on story line and I absolutely love the story lines of these. I would highly recommend this series.I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest and UNBIASED opinion.
