My favorite Pia Korittki yet By YesandNo I read all of the Pia Korittki books and liked them well enough to keep reading.This ninth case, Ostseesühne, was probably my favorite to date. After a somewhat slow start, the story developed a certain level of complexity, suspension and enough realism to move along nicely. The reason that I didn't give it 5 stars is that a few loose ends were left 'dangling' a bit - the Fuhrmanns, for example (I am not going into detail because I don't want to spoil it for people who haven't read it yet), or some details concerning the execution of the crimes and the resolution of the case.But all in all I enjoyed it and thought that the final scene was a particularly nice cliff hanger. It will entice Eva Almstädt's readers to pine for her next Pia Korittki book for sure...

Auch Pias persönliches Leben ist sehr gut mit einbezogen. Die Geschichte fließt wunderbar. Ich warte schon mit Ungeduld auf das nächste Band.
