This was my first time reading a book by CoCo Dior, but want be my last. Chanel straight running the streets of St Louis. RaShad just try to get to the plug, and do the job for Prada. Which he didn't help to search that hard. Between Chanel & RaShad I don't know who is keeping the most secrets. I need more know. I didn't want the book to end.

She was the connect he has been looking for, but he thinks Nelly is a man. Both of them are keeping secrets from each other; and s*** is going to hit the fan! Now Chanel is pregnant(possibly with a disease), and just found out Rashad was hired by her daddy. I can't wait to read part 2!

I'm all for part 2s and 3s but I feel like the story was finally coming to a climax with all of the drama surrounding the main characters but it was cut short. Will be reading the next part though. Dying to see what dude had to say for himself

Scritto alla perfezione e descritto da abile mano, che fa sì sia possibile immergersi in ambientazione e protagonisti. Originalissima la trama, curata nelle minime sfumature e bella la crescita della consapevolezza interiore della protagonista dopo il trauma. I personaggi sono palpabili, vivi. E poi cosa dire di... Ryan? Tutto meraviglioso, consigliatissimo! Cinque stelle meritate.

By Mary Clark This is the beginning of a new story; again the instalments are a short read, but intriguing enough to whet the reader’s appetite as the story unfurls. Piper is at Club Fet with her friend Gloria. The Club is Piper’s escape from the reality waiting for her at home, especially remembering the life she’s left behind and the freedom she’s lost. Tonight she is looking for a mark to take away her pain and misery. Life has worn her down, and her bad experiences have convinced her that true love doesn’t exist – now all she wants to do is wrap herself in pleasure. Piper is distracted when she sees a Dom she is interested in – she is not the type to back down when she sees something she wants and she wants him – tonight he is not available, but Piper goes back to the Club the following night intent on using her body to get exactly what she wants. A challenge is issued; Piper saying she can handle anything he throws at her, but when the Dom says he is going to break her - a half-threat, half-promise - she shows no fear. This is the start of another fascinating journey the author takes us along, as we learn more about Piper and what is in store for her as the story progresses. I certainly enjoyed this first instalment, and would have no hesitation in recommending the book. I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This is a short 30 page (give or take a page or two) installment that reads fast and starts off this new series in a wary tone. By the way, I received this book in exchange for an honest, open review.Piper, newly graduated from college in Boston has to come home because the death of her mother and step-father to take care of her younger step-brothers (15 year old Earl and Joe). She is upset and grieving and not happy that she has to now play parent to these two boys when all she wants it to sow her wild oats.The installment opens with Piper and her friend Gloria sitting in a BDSM club (Club Fet) people watching, Piper wants to become part of the action but Gloria is shy and just wants to sit back and watch. They spot a Dom (Sir Tall) that seems intrigued by Piper but Piper and Gloria leave before anything happens.The next day, Piper meets with her aunt for lunch and they discuss Piper's need to find a job and her Aunt Alyce tells her about a friend, Ann Longworth, that is looking for someone to do housekeeping, run errands and be a companion to her. Piper meets with Ann and after a short interview Piper lands the job and will start on Monday.That night Piper goes back to Club Fet and would't you know that Sir Tall is there again and they exchange some sexy, witty, promising banter... ""I'm going to break you tonight," he says, half-threat, half-promise. "Are you?" I show no fear. Inside, all I can think is how can you break what's already broken."This installment is the first of we don't know how many but it shows all the promise to be a sexy, smart, witty, enthralling and did say sexy series. I can't wait to read the next and the next and the next...it will be, I'm sure, an amazing ride...Buy your ticket and get on the ride to Torn!! You won't be sorry that you did!

By Mindie Thomas This first installment of Sky's new series Torn takes us into the life of Piper Gravatt. A college graduate with a degree in accounting finds herself thrust into a situation where she's now responsible for her brothers.A night at a BDSM club called Club Fet introduces the main male character referred to as "Sir Tall". Already broken he tells her she will break her. This was not a promise he made to her, it was a fact. He will break her. How the question is how will he break her?I love reading Sky's books because the characters have such a deep, descriptive background. It is important to me to be able to visualize the events as they are happening and Sky does that. Every detail that gives a story depth is there and while you may know what to expect, you have no idea how she will get you there which is the best part of the journey.It never fails, with any of Sky's books, each installment leaves me frustrated when it ends and anxious for the next to come out. Unlike some authors, she doesn't leave us hanging for long which is another big plus in my book!Now, back to waiting for the next part of the story!

By Pirate2240 The hardest thing for any parent is watching your child suffer and knowing there isn't anything you can do to help. That is the life that Christy and Kevin Beam witnessed for years as their daughter Annabel was diagnosed with a devastating digestive disease for which there is no cure, and would likely claim her life in the very near future. So for them, they never knew when Annabel's final day would come, so they did what most parents would do, is to try and make the remainder of those days the very best they could be.Annabel's faith in God was always strong, despite the many tests, trials, medications, surgeries and lengthy hospitals stays she had to endure, she remained as strong as any child could. She held on to her faith in God. Being the middle daughter, her life was challenging at best. Sitting back watching others enjoy food was a luxury Annabel couldn't afford. Just taking a bite of food could set her in the hospital for obstructions in her intestines, and as you know, people celebrate life with food as part of life. How hard for a child to watch people open their stockings filled with candy and have to hand it over to others to enjoy.But the Beams would never know how a seemingly innocent day turned into a nightmare and would forever change the outcome for Annabel's life. An aging cottonwood tree on their property with a gaping hope thirty feet up in the air would trap Annabel as she fell head first into the black hole while her sisters watched in horror. Had they not been present, who knows if anyone would have found her. Annabel's claims that during the time she remained trapped into the darkness of the tree, she went to Heaven where Jesus assured her, it was not her time to come home despite her many pleas to her parents to "let me got to Heaven with Jesus where there is no pain." What follows can only be a series of miracles for the lives of the people who were a part of this life changing rescue.I received Miracles from Heaven by Christy Wilson Beam compliments of Shelton Interactive and Hachette Book Groups for my honest review. I did not receive any monetary compensation for a favorable review and the opinions found here are strictly my own. I've read quite a few books about visitations to Heaven, and we may never know what exactly happened in Annabel's life, but what happened afterwards is truly miraculous. This is the memoir of Annabel's life up to the point where this accident happened and how God worked in the life of this family is bound to make even the harshest critic a believer. A truly inspirational true story of one little girl and her journey to heaven and her amazing story of healing. Well worth 4.5 out of 5 stars in my opinion.

By butterflywriter Miracles from Heaven tells the story of Annabel Beam told by her mother Christy. The story follows Annabel's journey through her sickness and her family's experiences along with hers. The story culminates around Annabel's miraculous healing after she is rescued from falling headfirst into an old hallow tree on the family's property. Annabel falls about two to three stories and lands headfirst. Miraculously she is pulled out with just minor cuts and bruises and a concussion. After this event as about a year passed Annabel's mother chronicles the family's journey as they realize that Annabel really is healed and no longer has the serious medical problems that she had before the fall. But most amazing and heartfelt is Annabel's story that she went to Heaven while she was 'in the tree' and that she met her Heavenly Father and Jesus.Annabel's mother (Ms. Beam) does a wonderful job describing her daughter's journey through heart breaking sickness, a miraculous healing and the experience of seeing Heaven and meeting God. The book is written beautifully; it pulled me in from the first page and I finished it in one sitting. I would recommend it to anyone who is a Christian or to those who may be doubting your faith; this book reaffirmed my faith for me in a beautiful non-intrusive way. It's a beautiful story of a little girl and her family's faith and reaffirms the fact for me that God truly does know the end from the beginning and is always doing what is best for us even when we don't realize it.
