If there was any possible way to rate it higher then 5* I would.Jacks life isn't the easiest to live being devoted completely to his job. He thought that his life could not have a constant woman in his life until he meets Bethany. While he is in deep with his current assignment trying to find a serial killer he questions on whether or not he should have a relationship with Bethany, at first he doubts it will work and then quickly changes his mind because he cannot keep her out of his thoughts.Everything that I look for in a book was right here in this book. It keeps you enthralled with its suspenseful storyline and easy to love characters. This no doubt will have me wanting to read all of her other books. This is the second book that I read from Maryann and just like the last, it didn't disappoint.

By Natasha Mahadeo * Authors Copy gifted for an Honest Review *So when I heard of this new series that Maryann Jordan was coming out with I couldn't wait. and let me tell you ladies she did not Disappoint.I have to say I absolutely Loved this book. In Serial Love we meet Jack Brynt and his team. Jack is an EX special Ops officer that has opened his own Security Business. He is very secretive about his life and Business. He has no times for love and believes there is no place for it in his life.That is until he meets Bethany.Bethany is such an amazing strong beautiful Woman that was never very hard for this Strong Alpha Man to fall to his knees. I have to say there were times he would do the most amazing things and I would wanna hug him and then there were times I wanted to slap through my Kindle. I really couldn't blame him as well. The things he saw really made him believe that Bethany deserved more but for her He is all she needed. Also with a serial Killer on the lose and Jack with his team trying to track him down I also could see where he was coming from.Ladies let me tell you that when they got together it was Damn near explosive. Their Chemistry was Smoking. I love the way they both wanted what was best for each other and worked to give the other just that.I swear this book has to Guessing right till you get to that point and you say " Oh Damn I didn't see that coming"I love that the twist and turns were really surprises.Maryann has stayed true to her Beautiful way of writing with Smoking Hot Scenes, Amazing hot Alpha male that will have you swooning and Awesome Heroine.... I loved this book and everything it stands for.Family, Friendship and Brotherhood.I can't wait to see who is next in this series because there are some pretty Hot men we are introduced to here......Make sure you Grab a copy because I can Honestly say you will be missing out if you Don't.

When I realized that I was coming to the end of the Alvarez Security books, all I could think of is "I need some more MJ books; I didn't want them to go away." I knew Maryann would come through though and she did spectacularly with the Saints Protection & Investigation books. For the first book in the series, Serial Love, I'm pretty sure I'm already in book love with Jack (Jacques) Bryant. The scenes where he was a little boy and complaining about his name were priceless and then what an amazing man he grew up to be. I know, I know...my love fest needs to end so I can write a proper review.In Serial Love, the male main character, Jack Bryant, owns a private investigation business. He employs men from various branches of the military and aren't afraid to get their hands dirty by taking on missions most men or agencies wouldn't touch. In this case, someone is kidnapping women from college campuses around the Richmond area and murdering them. At any other time, Jack would have no qualms going after the "campus killer." This time, things have become personal for Jack. Right about the time, Bethany Bridwell and her mother burst onto the supposedly impenetrable security measures he has around his home.Even though he doesn't want to be, Jack is attacted to Bethany, but knows he can't act on it. He gave the idea of the white picket fence and 2.5 kids years ago. And he knows this is the kind of thing that Bethany deserves. Not to be mean, but I can't help but laugh at all of the reasons he comes up with to stay away from her. Jack has no idea how strong Bethany actually is. It's very apparent to me that she could hold her own. Although, I do think its hot the way he wants to protect her. Who wouldn't want a strong hot alpha male taking care of them?At one point, Jack was not my favorite person with the way he kept going hot and cold with Bethany. I understand his reasoning, but they might have skipped a lot of pain by telling each other exactly the way they were feeling.So, enough of the storyline, I don't give away spoilers in my reviews. I don't think its fair to the author or the reader. Just be sure to one click Serial Love as soon as you can. You will fall into the world of hot protective men and the strong women it takes to handle them, specifically Jack and Bethany. And the hot factor between these two is off the charts! You will not be disappointed!I can't think of anything I didn't like about Serial Love. Maryann Jordan made sure this book had it all: suspense, intrigue, hot sex, and love. That's another one of the things I love about Serial Love as well as the rest of her books. Love plays a huge part in everyone of these men's relationships. It's very refreshing to read after all of the manwhore, billionaire, etc books. I'm not knocking them; I just like to read about good old honest love between a big strong alpha with a heart of gold who only has eyes for the woman who captivated him.Congratulations to Maryann Jordan for another outstanding book! I've read everything she has ever published, that I know of, and she just gets better and better. Maryann is one of those authors whose books you don't delete from your kindle. I give Serial Love 5 outstanding stars for the intrigue, hot factor, and love so evident throughout the book. Another winner for Maryann Jordan!
