From the Author Faithful Readers - This is the fourth and final book in the Xciting Arrangements Escort series. Please be aware that Pimp is a four-part cliffhanger serial that should be read in order from Book One to Book Four. If you have not read Books One, Two and Three, please read them first. Each book is about 23,000 total words and ends in a cliffhanger - except of course this final book! The serial is about 92,000 words with a guaranteed HEA and no cheating. I personally enjoy cliffhanger serials and love a season pass to binge watch select series on Netflix and HBO. I just don't want to wait an entire year to know what happens next! Because if you haven't then apologies if this review seems like total crap but i'm sure you've all read something, finished and been lost which makes the review pretty hard to write.Every Pimp review i've done it has got a little harder to express my feelings each time. with this being the last of the 4 ARCs reviews i've gotta say its probably the hardest. have you ever felt like the english language can't even help you? even though theres dozens of words to describe the same thing. (That's me with this review and book in general)If you haven't read this book yet then allow me to give you some useful advice before you do: 1. be prepared for emotions you can't understand or control, 2. Because of this ensure you have at least one of the following things: tissues, a bestie to rant to, sanity.I unfortunately didn't have any of these things nearby when i finished the book and i paid a price lol .... i've never truly had any sanity but i don't think i can go around saying i'm sane anymore ... i'm most defiantly NOT.The Xciting Arrangements Escort Series has been an amazing review submission, one that i know will stay with me for a very very long time :DThe characters are so relatable and people may not believe it but there is always some truth to fiction and its this that draws me into the novels because the darker and further they seem from reality the better. the world is a big and strange place and .. especially with romance .. its very likely the things we read and write about may have or will happen.I don't know about anyone else but i've always read as a form of escape... when my life isn't going so good it was and it always is time to go explore a thousand new worlds a million new lives and loves.Mase & Alyssa's story at first seemed an odd one but as it progressed i got so lost in even the tiniest detail. Their story is a world i'd be all to happy to get lost in again... it may be frustrating and sad at times but that strong mixture of emotions, that keep the readers enthralled is truly what defines a GREAT book for me.Its not about how its written or taking the story part to get to the meaning or the stuff worth reviewing. it's being able to enjoy every second every line and not regret the emotional distress when its all over and done but to enjoy that too. Mace & Alyssa are masters with this. although i suppose the real praise goes to the amazing writer of their story Claire Donovan (@DonovanRomace on Twitter).One of the things i loved about this story was how i managed to predict everything (which i know is only due to my well versed knowledge of Romance Novels & their plots) that being said i loved the fact that everything still came across so unexpected and still had me holding my breath for answers... crying so much crying from happiness to sadness and anger. I know i've already said this but nothing beats a book with raw emotion trust me :PWell i feel thats all i can say about Pimp before i start having a FanGirl moment and giving out all the juicy spoilers. By Virginia Mace pushes her to go with morgan to go through the auction. Even though they both love each other. Does mace wind up with Alyssa or does someone else wind up with her. Well I guess your going to have to buy the book n find out.

By Mary Mooney When Alyssa finally tells Mace that she wants them to be together, he pushes her toward the auction and tells her there is no "Us". So Alyssa goes to Vegas with Morgan to get ready for the auction, only she is not sure she can go through with it. All she wanted was for Mace to tell her that he wanted her and she would not go through with it. But he is being a stubborn pig, and so is she. Because she really doesn't have to go through with the auction if she doesn't want too. She it trying to make Mace jealous and hopefully he will stop her. Can she trust that he will stop her before it is too late? Will Mace come to his senses and tell her how he really feels? Will he still want her after the auction? This is a really good series and a first for me from this author and I really enjoyed it. By Amy Johnson Okay - I'll admit I've only had the book for 24 hours - but I do already love it. :-) I had my first smoothie from the book this morning - and it had sweet potato, so I was of course a bit apprehensive - but it was fantastic. I needn't have worried. I've been enjoying the Simple Green Smoothies lifestyle for almost a year now and Jen and Jadah rarely steer me wrong.I was first introduced to SGS via their 21-day cleanse - which I *highly* recommend. (look for it on their website) I've done it twice now and plan to do it at least 2x per year - forever. I can safely say SGS has changed my life. I have completely changed the way I eat, starting with having a Green Smoothie 5 out of every 7 days, or more. Having so many smoothie recipes in one book is going to be the best.Quite of the book is devoted to "setting up" and the "gear." (too much, imho) SO don't let that intimidate or steer you away. It's not a big deal and before you know it you'll be whipping up smoothies every day without thinking twice. I now have a complete routine and inventory of what's on the counter, what's in the fridge and what's in the freezer. It's just a matter of deciding which one to make when I wake up each morning.One final note: I especially love the book's index. Say you've got a pear on the counter that's perfect and ready to be eaten - today! - just look up "pear" in the index and there you go, all 10 smoothies featuring pear. Take your pick. Yum!!Love it.

My Kids Finally Love Veggies By Todd Herman We've got 2 little girls under the age of 3 and they love stuffing our NutriBullet with the different ingredients from the book. After battling our oldest since day 1 with eating veggies... we've finally conquered the resistance with the recipes from the book.I'm red meat lover raised on the farm, but even I like my morning jolt of the good green stuff now. The recipe on page 117 is my go to now because it's fast, simple and tastes great.

Jamieson I got a copy of this luscious book from the authors, Jen and Jadah, who are dear friends...AND IT'S SO GOOD!I've been making and recommending green smoothies to clients for 10+ years, and their recipestake the kale-cake!Each recipe is fail-proof. The pictures are inspiring and make you want to run to the grocery store and get blending!There are smart recommendations in terms of "building a smoothie" (order of layering ingredients), and really great combinationsthat I hadn't considered before (mint and ginger?! YUM!).Yes, I know the authors. Yes, I received a free copy of the book to review...and YES, I will be buying extra copies for my siblings for the holidays this year!

Kate Plain is just that- plain. She blends into her surroundings and observes. A frantic phone call from her sister’s roommate and a few strange phrases from the man himself make her wonder what Colton Pidcock is really up to and what it might mean for her future and her life.

"When the Shivers Run Down Your Spine" is by author Rhonda West and is Book 1 of her novels in the "Detective Mystery Sleuth Suspense Thriller (Family Crime Mystery)" genre. The storyline of this short story is continued in the follow-on short story "When The Wind Howls In New Directions". Neither of these books, despite the photos on the covers, has anything to do with the occult or overt sensuality. The storyline concerns Kate Plain who actually is very ordinary and subdued in her eyes and the eyes of the world. She works in an office doing menial deeds under the scrutiny of a dictatorial young boss. But she has a secret and late at night she successfully writes seedy novels, which initiates a fateful change into her life when a famous publisher comes calling. Author West is on a definite roll for two-thirds of this short story, with some very enjoyable and laugh-out-loud funny writing and characters, such as Kate's mother, sister, her boss, the publisher Mr. Pidcock, and best friend Susan. But this is mis-direction by the author, because the story then goes into dark territory, ending on a surprising cliffhanger that leads to Book 2: "When The Wind Howls In New Directions" and some major new characterizations. Their hooves sounded thunderous like a distant drumbeat, long before the uninitiated would have known what it was. The riders were returning from the hunt, and minutes later the boys could hear the voices calling out, the laughter, the horses snorting as they brought in their riders. When they entered the courtyard of Schloss Altenberg and approached the stables, it was obvious they were in high spirits and it had been a good hunt. One of the earliest arrivals said the hounds had gotten the fox, which they’d expected, as the horses pranced around, still excited from the exhilarating day. Riders and mounts alike had enjoyed the cold October weather, and the men in “pinks,” their scarlet riding jackets, with white jodhpurs and tall black boots, looked like a portrait as they dismounted and handed the reins of their horses to the stable boys, who helped several women dismount too. A number of them were riding sidesaddle, which looked very elegant, but was no mean feat on a hunt. The group that had gone out that day had been riding together for all the years they had known one another and were old enough to hunt. For all of them, horses were their passion, and riding their favorite sport.Alex von Hemmerle was known to be one of the finest riders in the county, and had been breeding extraordinary horses since he was barely more than a boy. Everything in his life was born of tradition, which was true for all of them. There were no newcomers or surprises here. The same families had inhabited the area for centuries, visiting each other, following long-established rituals and traditions, intermarrying, running their estates, and cherishing their land. Alex had grown up in Schloss Altenberg, as generations of his ancestors had, since the fourteenth century. He held a ball there at Christmas, as all his forebears had done. It was the most glamorous event in the county, and everyone looked forward to it every year. His daughter Marianne had been his hostess for the first time the year before, when she turned sixteen.Now seventeen, Marianne had the same striking ethereal beauty her mother had had, with finely chiseled features. She was tall like Alex, with almost translucent porcelain skin, her mother’s nearly white blond hair, and her father’s electric blue eyes. She was one of the most beautiful young women in the region and as famous a rider as he was. He had put her on horseback before she could walk, and she went on every hunt, so she had been furious not to go with him that day, but she had a bad cold and a fever, and he had insisted she stay home. She was sturdier than she looked, despite her delicate beauty, unlike her mother, who had been far more fragile, and had died from blood loss and a severe infection the day after Marianne was born. It was not unusual for women to die in childbirth, but losing her had marked Alex severely. There had never been an important woman for him since. And although he had discreet dalliances in the county occasionally, his daughter was the only woman he truly loved now, and he had had no desire to remarry since his wife Annaliese’s death, and knew he never would. They had been distant cousins and childhood sweethearts, although he was several years older. He had never expected to find himself widowed at thirty, but in the seventeen years since he’d lost her, his life with his daughter and his friends was all he wanted, and he always warned the women he saw quietly not to expect anything permanent from him.Running his vast estate kept him busy, and breeding the Lipizzaner horses he was so proud of filled his life nearly as much as his daughter, and she shared his passion for them. She loved admiring the new foals and watching her father train them. His snow-white Lipizzaners were said to be the finest, and the easiest to train, and his bloodlines the purest. He was rigorous about which stallions he used for breeding, and which mares he chose to reproduce, and he had taught Marianne all about them since she was a little girl.She had been to the Spanish Riding School in Vienna with her father often, and thought their rigorous precision exercises looked like ballet, as she watched the splendid white horses dance and go through their incredibly intricate paces. She held her breath as she watched them prance on their hind legs in the “capriole” or “courbette” or leap into the air in the “croupade,” with all four legs tucked under their bodies. It thrilled her every time she saw it, just as it did Alex. And he had trained some of his horses in these exercises as well. Marianne wished that she could become a rider at the school, and she was capable enough to do it, but the Spanish Riding School did not accept women, and her father said they never would. So she was content to see her father’s horses perform at home or in Vienna and help him train them before they left. Once in a great while, he allowed her to ride them, but very seldom. But he did allow her to ride any of the Arabian horses he kept in his stables and bred as well. Her riding skill was instinctive, and she had grown up with some of the finest horses in Germany, and learned everything her father taught her. Horses were in her blood just as they were in his.“Good hunt today,” Alex commented, looking happy and relaxed as he and his good friend Nicolas von Bingen threaded their way through the other riders, who were chatting animatedly in the courtyard. They were in no hurry, even after the long ride. It had grown bitter cold as night fell, and the ground had been hard, but nothing stopped them, since all of them had good mounts, though perhaps not quite as fine as their host’s. Nicolas had been riding a new Arabian stallion that Alex had lent him and had found him an excellent ride.“I might like to buy him from you,” Nicolas said, and Alex laughed.“He’s not for sale. Besides, I promised him to Marianne, after I train him for a while. He’s still a bit rough.”“He suits me that way,” Nicolas said, smiling at his boyhood friend. “Besides, he’s too much horse for her.” He liked his horses lively and a challenge to control.“Don’t tell her that!” Alex said, smiling. Marianne would never have tolerated an insult like that, and her father wasn’t sure that was true. She was a better rider than Nick, although Alex would never have dared say that to him. Nick was a little overly zealous with his horses at times, and Marianne had gentler, better hands. He had taught her himself, with exceedingly good results.“Where was she today, by the way? I don’t think I’ve ever seen her miss a hunt,” Nick commented, surprised that she hadn’t come along. She was a familiar sight at their hunts, and always welcome with her father’s friends.“She’s sick. I nearly had to tie her to her bed to keep her home. You’re quite right, she never misses a hunt,” Alex said with a worried look.“Nothing serious, I hope.” Nick’s eyes were instantly concerned.“She has a bad cold and a fever. The doctor came around last night. I was afraid it was going to her lungs. He ordered her to stay at home. I knew my word wouldn’t suffice, and I didn’t think his would impress her either, but I think she was feeling worse than she wanted to admit. She was asleep when I left this morning, which is very unlike her.”“Should you have the doctor back tonight?” Nick had had his own bad experiences with influenza, and had lost his wife and four-year-old daughter to it five years before, after an epidemic in the county and a particularly hard winter. He had been devastated to lose them both, and like Alex, he was widowed now, in his case with two sons, Tobias and Lucas. Tobias had been ten when his mother and sister died and still remembered them both, and Lucas was only six now, and had been barely more than a baby when they died. Tobias was a quiet, gentle boy, who worshipped Marianne, who was two years older. And Lucas was a lively, mischievous child, full of fun, and happy wherever he was, particularly if it was on a horse. Tobias was far more like his much gentler mother, and Lucas had all the energy and fire of his father. Nick had gotten up to all kinds of misadventures when he was younger, and was still the talk of the county at times, when he started an affair with some woman, occasionally even married ones, or took a bet racing a horse at breakneck speeds. He was an extremely competent rider, though not of Alex’s superlative skill. He had never had the patience to train a horse the way Alex did, although he was fascinated with Alex’s Lipizzaners, and what he was able to do with them. Even before they left for the Spanish Riding School, Alex had already begun to train them in the intricate figures for which the beautiful white horses were famous.“Do you have a minute?” Alex asked him as they walked past the stables. The others slowly began to disperse and called out their goodnights when they got into their cars.“I’m in no rush to get home,” Nicolas said, smiling casually, as the two men strolled toward the barn. They had been friends since their childhood, although Alex was four years older, and they had gone to boarding school in England together when they were young. Alex had been the better student, and Nick had had far more fun, which was still the case. Nicolas von Bingen enjoyed everything about his life. He was a good friend and a good father, and a kind person, although Alex knew he was a little too fun-loving and irresponsible at times. Widowhood had only dampened him a little, and for now he was not yet burdened with running his estate. His father was still alive and very much in control, which left Nick a considerable amount of time to play, unlike Alex, who had run his own estate and fortune since his early twenties, when his father died. In many ways, Nick still acted like a boy, while Alex had been very much a man for more than two decades. But they complemented each other and were more like brothers than friends.Nick followed Alex into the barn, and Alex led him to an immaculately kept stall where one of his finest Lipizzaner mares was nursing a foal she had given birth to only days before. The coal-black foal was standing unsteadily on its legs as the mare looked at them both with her big dark eyes. Nick knew that Lipizzaner foals were born dark brown or black, so he wasn’t surprised by its color, as it stood in sharp contrast to its snow-white mother. He knew it would take five or six years for its coat to turn white, just as he knew it would be ten years old before it was fully trained. The foal would spend four years with Alex, and six at the school in Vienna. The training of the remarkable Lipizzaners happened over long, careful, diligent, and meticulous years.“He’s a beauty, isn’t he?” Alex said proudly. “One of the best I’ve seen. He was sired by Pluto Petra”—who Nick knew was Alex’s finest stallion, whom he used only to breed—“and this little mare did very well. I’m going to have fun training him.” He looked as proud of the newborn horse as any father, and Nick smiled at him.“You’re a wonder,” Nick said affectionately, as the two men walked out of the barn together. Alex would have asked Nick to join him for dinner, but he wanted to have dinner with Marianne in her room.“Do you want to ride with me tomorrow to the north border?” Alex asked him. “I’m thinking of clearing some of my forests. I thought I’d take a look. I want to get an early start, and be back at noon. We can have lunch after our ride.”“I’d love to,” Nick said regretfully, as he stopped at the Duesenberg he had left parked under a tree. He much preferred his Bugatti, but had decided to be more respectable when he came to join Alex for the hunt. “I can’t, though. I have to meet my father. There’s something he wants to talk to me about. I can’t for the life of me think what it is. I haven’t done anything to annoy him in weeks.” They both laughed at what he said. Nick enjoyed a close relationship with his father, although his father frequently scolded him over rumors he had heard, of Nick’s womanizing, or his galloping around, or driving at insane speeds. Above all, Paul von Bingen was always trying to get Nick involved in the running of the estate. He assumed that that was what his father wanted to discuss with him the next day. It was a recurring theme. “I think he wants me to take over managing the farms, which sounds like dreadful work to me.”“You’ll have to do it one day. You might as well start now,” Alex said sensibly.They still had farmers on their land who had been indentured servants, and now rented their farms from him for pennies. But they were a necessary part of the system, and the traditions that had ruled them all for years. They weren’t really part of the modern world, but living here in the countryside allowed them a tranquil life away from the cities. Germany had been troubled for years, since the chaos and poor economy after the Great War, and the Depression. The economy had improved under Hitler, but the country’s problems weren’t over yet. Hitler had tried to give Germans a sense of pride again, but his fervent speeches and rallies at fever pitch didn’t appeal to Alex or Nick. Alex thought he was a troublemaker, and had a strong dislike for most of his ideas, and his annexing Austria in March was a disturbing sign of his ambitions. But whatever Hitler was doing seemed very remote to them here in their peaceful Bavarian countryside. Nothing could touch them here, and nothing ever changed. Their families had been in the area for centuries, and would be, doing the same things, in another two hundred years. They were insulated from the world. And both men were comfortable knowing that their children and great-grandchildren would still be here one day.Alex and Nick had been brought up to be noblemen, and very little else. They had been blessed with enormous fortunes, which they never discussed and rarely if ever thought about. They had tenant farmers and servants, and vast estates, which in turn would pass on to their children, in a totally protected life and world.

Out of her recent works , one of her best. I loved the plot and how she weaves the two families together. Once again, Ms. Steel, by writing about a family and the passage of time, makes me think about How profound our own actions are and how they will affect future generations. Well done and a great read!

I could not put the book down this weekend. If you love the Lipizzaner horses, you will enjoy the novel. However, it is so much more than that. It is based on World War II when Hitler was persecuting the Jewish people. When Nick and his family find their lives in jeopardy ( his mother had been half Jewish, though he had never known her or been told this) , they must flee to America. From an aristocratic upbringing to working in the circus with the horses,it is a heart wrenching story of finding a new way of life. One will never be able to return to one's homeland again. The story spans many generations of these 2 aristocratic families- Nick in America and his friend Alex who owned the Lipizzaner horses in Austria. One also gets an inside look at the variety of people and circus life. If you enjoy romance, historical fiction, you will gain a better understanding of the courage and resilience of those who stayed, and those who fled from Europe during this time.

Pegasus By Fredda Briscoe Morgan This is a book that begins like all of Danielle Steele's books, never has the male been wealthier or more handsome and the female has impeccable breeding with exquisite hair, face, and body, although the educational level of the characters are never mentioned. This is formula writing at its most successful and it seldom varies as the author introduces the family, the problem, Jewish background with Hitler looming, but the ability to escape and survive with an improbable solution, but a fairy tale ending. All of D.S.'s books fit her formula but they entertain and provide escape for a few hours. I am always disappointed in myself when I give in and read them, but, it was a few hours of sheer entertainment. If you've read one, you've read them all. Okie Reading Specialist

A great book By DR This is another story where Christa Wick combines a wonderful, but somewhat heart-wrenching story with a lot of sexy romance and a happy ever after. If you loved Paper Wings, you will love this one too.There is a very sad backstory for the soldier hero and the topless dancer heroine. Together, the two of them find love, acceptance, and a way to move forward that is wonderful for everyone in the story.A lot of the plot has to do with a homeless shelter for runaway teens, and how they can best be taken care of. The heroine is 100% focused on making sure the young people are okay.It is a great romance with a lot of erotic content, and the range of emotions I went through while reading it was incredible.

It's super sexy and steamy...and sweet all at the same time! My only grip, if you want to call it that, is who was behind everything?! I'm not sure it was just the nasty director! Any who... read this book!!! And everything else she has to offer! You will not be disappointed! ;-) trust me!!!

She knows the territory and writes it well. As she states, ‘I don’t know about all the other ladies out there, but as a reader, military men are my favorite type of hero — heck, I married one and I still remember how much I loved the summers, back when the rules allowed him to wear his Army uniform with the sleeves rolled (in a very particular and meticulously folded manner, of course!). Oh, those tasty, sexy biceps. Naturally, that means I write a lot of men with military backgrounds. What sets “Heroes out of Uniform” apart from the other stories I have with soldiers and sailors is the SWEETNESS factor. These men are protective and fierce, but they aren’t into being an alphahole at all (although I’m sure they’re all for delivering the occasional spanking if necessary to keep their lady in line for her own good). I hope you’ll agree that “Hard, Hot and Sweet” is exactly what you get with the “Heroes out of Uniform” stories.’And not only does Christa work her erotica into her novels, she also happens to build excellent sidebars that have true significance. Fortunately, this was not the case with Julia Quinn's latest romance novel, "Romancing Mr. Bridgerton." This latest installment about the Bridgerton siblings was well worth the wait (I think that it took slightly more than a year for this novel to be published), and is, I think, the best book in the series so far. This novel is a wonderful mixture of romance, poignancy and whimsy. I fairly devoured the book, and was quite saddened to have finished it so quickly. I was also left with the fervent wish that there were more novels like this one out there for me to read.Miss Penelope Featherington has been in love with her best friend's elder brother, Colin Bridgerton, ever since she was sixteen. Unfortunately, Penelope is not a raving beauty, or a gregarious, charming wit. Somewhat quiet and shy (and a little plump), Penelope is the sort of young lady that fades into the woodwork, and not at all the type to cause Colin's senses to swim. The years pass (about 12 to be exact) and Penelope has resigned herself to both remaining a spinster and having her love remain unrequited, when Colin Bridgerton, who has taken to traveling extensively in order to escape his managing mother's attempts to marry him off, returns from Cyprus. Now, Penelope sees Colin almost everyday, and at every social do. She discovers that she is as deeply in love with him now as she was all those years ago, and wishes fervently that she was the kind of woman who could ensnare his affections. However the Colin who came back is also slightly different -- restless, bored and a little discontented with the manner in which his life in unfolding. And while Penelope enjoys the time that they spend together, she cannot help but wonder how long she will be able to continue hiding her love for him?After having spent so many years abroad, Colin Bridgerton returns to England, hoping to find something that will chase this ennui away. Who would have believed that his thoughts would be full of shy, quiet Penelope Featherington? And that he would enjoy her intelligence and dry wit to such an extent? Julia Quinn took great pains to first allow for Penelope's and Colin's friendship to be reestablished by allowing them to have some really meaningful conversations, where they actually discuss things (like his boredom and her unhappiness over always being on the fringes of things), before she eased them into a romance. Ever so often, the hero and heroine barely share a thought before they begin their rather erotic encounters. So that it was a treat to have Penelope and Colin talk, and not about politics and social issues either. I also liked that although Penelope has loved Colin forever, she doesn't simply nod her head and agree with him on everything under the sun. Penelope has her own opinions. And even when she senses that her thoughts may not be the ones that Colin wants to hear, she doesn't shirk from sharing them with him. This is one romance that is, I think, really going to stand the test of time."Romancing Mr. Bridgerton" was a truly wonderful read about unspoken dreams and love. Mostly, however, eventhough this is a Bridgerton novel, this is a book that is actually all about Penelope -- about what life is like for a spinster who never 'took' and about the dreams and desires she never expected to be fulfilled. I found this novel to be an outstanding one, and one that was definitely worth treasuring.

He never paid much attention to her and she knew that she could never have a man like him. She wasnt beautiful by society's standards and she was just a tad chubby when she was introduced to society in order to gain a husband. Unfurtunately, no one looked her way and Colin only danced with her in those balls out of pitty, and because his mother order him to (and you dont mess with Lady Bridgerton). 10 years later Penelope is 28 and used to the idea that she's a spinster and she will remain so. Colin has barely seen her in those 10 years since he spends too much time traveling, but when he returns he sees a different Penelope, because she is slowly starting to speak her mind instead of being so quiet as she used to. There's much more to the story. The plot is so entertaining I skipped a study session for a final so i could keep reading the book. I simply loved everything, the characters are well written, the plot is great, the dialogue is fantastic as well as funny and tender. In short this is my favorite JQ book! Highly recomend it! Plus there's a very interesting surprise as well! and Lady Whistledown is more superb than usual!

Rondeau I waited forever for this book because I've read all of the others in this series and have been dying to know who Lady Whistledown truly was. You will find out if you read this book, but not from me!Penelope Featherington has been in love with Colin Bridgerton since she was 16 and now she is heading towards spinsterhood at eight and twenty. Colin has been abroad and has come home from his latest jaunt. In that time, Penelope still loves Colin but has little hope that he will ever notice her as anything other than his sister Eloises' best friend.Lady Whistledown can't seem to write columns without mentioning the very available and nice Colin Bridgerton - evidently nothing has changed since he left - or has it. The girl who was like a part of his family, now haunts his dreams. Could this be love?This is one of Julia Quinn's classic love stories with her trademark humourous dialog. A charming story, and the mystery of Lady Whistledown, finally revealed! I never guessed it!
